Being outdoors is important and half the Programme is given over to taking part in both the traditional Scouting skills, such as camping, survival and cooking as well as the wide range of adventurous activities, anything from abseiling to yachting.
2nd Ammanford Scouts meet every Tuesday at 6.30pm - 8.00pm, the cost is £2.50 per week or term payment £15 once invested. We actively take part in camping throughout the year, kayaking, hiking, backpacking and generally have a great time outdoors. All of our scouts have learnt a great deal of outdoor skills since joining and will continue to learn as they progress. After a period of about 4 weeks, you will be asked to become a member (depending on suitability), you will then be invested into 2nd Ammanfor
