There are loads of fun things that you can do as a Cub Scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. If you do them properly you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform. Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm. Sometimes you will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities.
2nd Ammanford cubs meet every Thursday from 6pm to 7.30pm, we have a maximum of 18 cubs divided into 3 'sixes' - red six, green six and blue six. Payment is £2.50 per week for new entrants, then term payment of £15 once invested. After a period of about 4 weeks, you will be asked to become a member (depending on suitability), you will then be invested into 2nd Ammanford Cubs. There will be a charge of £10, this includes your necker and all required badges. Your leader/s will explain the procedure to you. All Cubs are required to know the Promise & Law (see below) before being invested.
